BETA GLUCAN

This product has been developed in order to improve the characterization, specifications, production and usage methods of some of the oligosaccharides (glocomannan, etc) which is a metabolic effective substance having “life weight increase, probioitic and immunological” effects on milking and fatling animals. Natural microorganism wastes have been used as raw materials for the production of such product. In this operation, an industrial waste which causes environmental pollution is recovered and also it has been used economically for feeding. 

Oligosaccharides are located on the cell walls of the microorganisms. Also some bacteria (Paecilimyces sp. and Saccharomyces cereviesiae) have Mannan- Oligosaccharides. Oligosaccharides are able to absorb some pathogen microorganisms such as infections. Ferments improve the operational efficiency of the digestive system by absorbing mycotoxins. It has been suggested that oligosaccharides have a positive effect on the bio-efficiency of the bio-elements such as phosphor, magnesium, calcium, zinc, copper, potassium and manganese. When such oligosaccharides are added to animal feeds, the lecithins of these pathogens (protein connecting cells) are connected to the Mannan in stead of the carbohydrates and such pathogens are thrown away in complex forms. Such operations result in an increase in the body resistivity of the animals and provide weight increase.
